Additional fee per hour $175.00
I agree to provide such services regarding Forensic Document Examination, and as may be requested from time to time in writing. Typically services may include a preliminary opinion letter, written opinion, consultation, both with the client if needed and others; a case review, technical investigation, laboratory work, preparation of reports, pretrial conferences; assistance in preparation for depositions and other discovery; testifying in a deposition or by other discovery requests; preparation for trial and travel time. Fees not specifically listed are billed at the same rate as listed services.
Additional Expenses
Deposition 2 hr. min. payable in advance $ 750.00
Additional charges billed at $200.00 per hour.
Mileage over 200 miles from Albuquerque
will be billed for a full day.
Court testimony minimum per half day payable
In advance. $ 750.00
Out of State/Country per day $ 1400.00
Day set aside for court appearance or deposition $ 600.00

Court Exhibits $100.00
Exhibit preparation per hr.
All of the above to include all applicable gross
Receipts and sales tax.
Out of pocket and client expenses.
Auto Expenses per mile $ .45
Out of state/county expenses include but not limited to: Airfare, ground,
Transportation, lodging and meals and all other reasonable travel expenses.
All documents submitted for examination and identification will be photographed and enlarged for examination and identification including court exhibits.
Payment is due when services are rendered, except for the retainer. I reserve the right to withdrawal from retention on any account that is more than 30 days past due. The account must be paid within seven days after services have been rendered, and in any event prior to the trial date, provided that in the event the fee for the trial services exceed the initial anticipated trial fee, said additional services shall be paid.
Balances over 30 days are delinquent and subject to 2 % interest per month on the unpaid balance. In the event it becomes necessary to refer any unpaid bills to an attorney for collection, the client agrees to pay all costs and reasonable attorneys fees.
In the event my account is not paid in full prior to payment of any money or other things of value to me and /or my attorney, you expressly give to me a charging lien on such proceeds to the extent of the balance then due me, and the signature of the attorney for me is his/her contractual agreement with me that he/she will first remit to me all money due me before any payment is made to you.
If my name is used to settle a case without being retained, you will be billed accordingly.
The client agrees to provide for any payments or reimbursement of any attorneys’ fees or cost which may incur as a party to litigation in the event , Judith A. Housley and/or Housley & Associates is joined in a lawsuit based upon any opinion.
