JUDITH A. HOUSLEY AND ASSOCIATES

Judith A. Housley has been a practicing board certified forensic document examiner for over 35 years. She has testified as a handwriting expert in trials and depositions over 500 times in federal, state, military and tribunal courts throughout the continental United States as well as a United States territory (Saipan).

  • Participated in proficiency testing and has been court appointed in New Mexico, Arizona and Colorado.
  • Testified on a case in New Mexico that is now case law. She has also passed a Daubert Challenge in Taos, New Mexico in 2003.
  • Qualified as an expert witness in handwriting identification in both federal and state courts.
  • Testified in New Mexico and Colorado.
  • Certified as a Questioned Document Examiner by the National Association of Document Examiners.
  • Co-authored a training course on document examination with Katherine Koppenhaver and has lectured extensively to banks, document examiners, retail merchants, police departments and legal associations.
